President Lee Chang-gung Affectionately referred to as Uncle Chang by many at Vector, we are proud of our president and the 40+ years of business experience he brings to Vector Airsoft. Unlike most prominent Taiwan business men, Lee came from an impoverished background. Lee was born to a tenant farming family in Kuantien Township of Tainan County in late 1945 but was not formally issued a birth certificate until March 13, 1946 because of doubts that he would survive. In June 1964, he was admitted to the National Taiwan University. Initially a law major, he switched to business administration in his first year. He passed his exams before the completion of his junior year with the highest score, becoming one of Taiwan's youngest business professionals. He continued on to act as an executive in many prestigious companies, including Formosa Plastics Group. In 1975, he married Wu Fang-liang, the daughter of a physician. The Lees have a son who is a dentist and daughter who graduated with a degree in law from the University of California, Berkeley in 2005. In 2002, following his enthusiasm for the sport, he helped found a new company built on family and fun... Vector Airsoft.
